Edgewater Residence

With a love of cooking and a need to relax after work, this project created two oases with a deconversion of a two-flat into a 4-bedroom, 3 bathroom single family home that uniquely fits their needs.

The kitchen becomes a center point for entertainment for up to 15, but still cozy and warm for the day-to-day breakfast of their two children. Blending functionality with simplicity of design and bright openness the kitchen becomes the focal point of their home.

In contrast, the master bathroom is the tucked away relaxation spa to unwind. Heated floors, custom slumped glass sinks and high contrast tile create a comfortable yet clean design.

The entryway, once two doors into two separate apartment units, is opened up and restored with matching handrail and period wallpaper to match the age of the century home.
